General terms & conditions
You must be 18 years old or have a guardian’s approval to order from MELIMELI.
Prices
The prices in the shop are stated in British Pounds (GBP) and all prices include VAT & Customs.
We reserve the right for price changes as a result of a price change from the supplier, misprints in the price list and inaccuracies in prices based on incorrect information. We reserve the right to adjust the price.
Product information
We reserve the right for any typographical errors on this website as well as the final sale of products. We do not guarantee that the images reflect the exact appearance of the products as a certain color difference may occur depending on the monitor, photo quality and resolution. You can always order free fabric samples to get an accurate appearance of the fabrics.
Order information
When your order has been completed, an order confirmation is sent to the email address given at checkout. The e-mail contains information about the order such as invoice address, delivery address, products, prices and shipping costs. If something is wrong with the order, please contact us immediately by email.

Payment
MELIMELI uses the payment solution Stripe to accept payments via debit- and credit card. *We currently accept payments with VISA or Mastercard. The full payment is due upon placing an order.
Secure connection
MELIMELI uses so-called “secure pages” where information is sent via encrypted transmission. The certificates for the website are issued by approved suppliers such as GlobalSign and DigiCert. The suppliers guarantee that it is the website belonging to MELIMELI that the customer communicates with and that all information transmitted is encrypted. On most browsers, there are symbols next to the address bar that indicate whether the website is secure or not. It is also possible to see if a website is secure by checking if the website address starts with https://. If it starts with http:// instead, it is an unsafe website.
Delivery
Furniture that is in stock is delivered within approximately 14 days within the UK from the time we have booked your order. Furniture made to order is delivered to our warehouse within 6-8 weeks. If there have been delays in your delivery (without us notifying you), please contact us directly via email or via our chat on the website.

Right of withdrawal
For goods in stock, the customer has a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days from the time the goods are received. For goods that are made to order, the right of cancellation applies 14 days from the date the order was placed. It is the customer’s own responsibility to see if the ordered product is a stock item or a made-to-order item. In case of any cancellation, the product must be in sellable condition with undamaged packaging. With the support of Swedish law, purchases whose sealing/packaging has been broken cannot be returned, with the exception of MELIMELI’s carpets. In the event of broken carpet packaging, it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the product is packed so that it can handle the return shipping undamaged.
When using the right of withdrawal, the entire product amount is refunded, the cost of shipping is not refunded.
Returns due to size
It is the customer’s responsibility to find out that the ordered product can enter through doorways and any stairs before delivery. MELIMELI disclaims responsibility for accepting returns because of this. The company is also not responsible for direct or indirect damage or loss that may occur to the customer.
Claims & Complaints
In accordance with the Consumer Purchase Act, the customer has a three-year right of complaint from when the item is received. Report a complaint as soon as possible to our email address info@melimelihome.com or fill in our complaint form . We follow the guidelines of the Swedish General Complaints Board (ARN, ”Allmänna Reklamationsnämnden”).
Force Majeure
We accept no responsibility for delays or errors as a result of circumstances beyond the company’s control such as labor disputes, fire, war, authority decisions and reduced or non-delivery by suppliers. Furthermore, no responsibility is taken for any changes to products/product characteristics that have been changed by the respective supplier and other factors beyond our control.
Dispute
In the event of a dispute, we follow the recommendations of the Swedish General Complaints Board (ARN, ”Allmänna reklamationsnämnden”).
